India’s logistics industry is forecast to become an over Rs 5.55 lakh crore ($120.42 billion) market by 2014, driven by growth in the manufacturing sector, a study by global consultancy Frost & Sullivan said.

As per the research report, expansion in manufacturing sector over the past years has opened opportunities for the logistics market and the trend is likely to gain pace as India is emerging as one of the earliest economies to recover from the global slowdown. Source
